HIRE AN UNINSTRUSIVE PHOTOGRAPHER
A top complaint I see online and get told at wedding shows from potential brides and moms is, “We’ve been to weddings where the photographer moved around a lot during the ceremony and was either up front or standing in the middle aisle for a majority of the ceremony.”
This causes the guests to be distracted and some are unable to see the ceremony events because the photographer and second shooter are constantly in the way. DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! Ask 1 question, “How much do you move around during the ceremony and do you use a telephoto lens to help lessen the distractions?”
I’ll give you the answers to the test: “I move minimally during the ceremony and most movement will occur during the wedding party entrance. As soon as the bride is up front, there is no need for us to be up front again the rest of the ceremony. I use a lens that let’s me capture everything you will need to see from the back of the ceremony site.”

2. GET BEAUTIFUL WEDDING IMAGES
I know beautiful wedding images are what you are after. Outside of just documenting the day every bride wants their wedding photos to both capture the day accurately while also being packed with emotion. A good photographer will be able to deliver in any situation. The key thing to be cautious of is anyone who says they are strictly a natural light photographer.
I’ve been at many weddings as a videographer where natural light photographers have been unable to deliver quality final photos in situations where light is low. Be sure and ask those kinds of questions about how your photographer will handle low light photos. (I know brides are unhappy because they email and message me their galleries asking what’s wrong with their photos from other photographers - then wish they had hired me in the first place.)
All my brides are super relaxed knowing that I have the ability to photograph in any lighting condition (I’ve even done photos inside a cave with NO light before!) Make sure your photographer is experienced with lighting. It makes all the difference in the world and can make or break your reception photos.

3. USE A FULL SERVICE PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO
A full-service photography studio takes care of everything from start to finish that is needed to properly preserve your wedding day. If your time is valuable, then hiring a full service studio saves you considerable time and hassle after the wedding.
The #1 complaint of brides who hire a photographer who only delivers online galleries is the majority do not know what to do with their online gallery of images. They are lost and confused about how and where to print the images and also how to actually display them. Most photographers who only deliver galleries do not know how to have photos printed or albums produced either.
Fortunately, I provide all my brides with top notch customer service and save them tons of time by designing their albums, helping select the best photos for prints, and handling delivery of all the goods. My goal is to make sure you have the best of the best in all aspects of your wedding imaging!

SURPRISE!
While photojournalist style images are important, I also believe in creating art pieces for you that will be statement pieces in your home. As a result, on your wedding day,
I’m able to deliver 2 distinct style images for you! My clients love these as large prints on the walls of their homes and also large spreads in the album. Your wedding album is your first family heirloom and I want you to have the best of the best in terms of images and album quality!

Most couples don’t realize their wedding photos could be ruined by this mistake!
PRO TIP - The #1 complaint (and subsequent warning) I see from brides in online forums is that they hired a “natural light” photographer. This is because, when it comes time for the reception (or anything indoors or low light) they can’t properly light the image to make it look good. In order to avoid this disaster on your wedding day, make sure your photographer can use the correct lighting indoors and outdoors so you can actually see yourself in your images!
