I’ve been a math tutor to middle school and high school kids since 2012. I’ve compiled some of helpful documents and extra problem sheets over that time for the basics up through Geometry I.
Meet the Author

Kyle is an aerospace engineer with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering, and has worked in the field since 2000. As a former NASA astronaut instructor and US Army rotorcraft acquisition professional, he has spent years breaking down complex ideas into clear, practical lessons people can understand and use.
He has also tutored numerous children in math, helping them build confidence, problem-solving skills, and the belief that they are capable of learning hard things. Kyle believes every child can grow smarter, more focused, and more confident when learning feels fun, encouraging, and achievable.
As a published and award-winning photographer, Kyle also brings creativity and visual storytelling into his books. Through Izzy & Marleigh, he combines logic, imagination, puzzles, coloring, and playful learning to help kids enjoy screen-free activities that strengthen their minds while having fun.
